Description

A harmonious blend of rich cheesecake and comforting apple crisp, this dessert encapsulates the essence of autumn in every delectable bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 4 cups sliced apples (such as Granny Smith)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Prepare a 9-inch springform pan by lightly greasing it.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl to form the crust. Press firmly into the bottom of the springform pan.
  3. Mix cream cheese and granulated sugar on medium speed until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust and bake until set, about 50-60 minutes.
  5. Prepare the apple topping by sautéing sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until tender.
  6. Top the cooled cheesecake with the apple mixture, sprinkle oats and brown sugar on top, then broil for a few minutes until golden.
  7. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

Serve slightly chilled, drizzled with caramel sauce or with a dollop of whipped cream.
