Description
A unique fusion of crispy wonton wrappers filled with a savory blend of ground chicken and vegetables, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- Wonton wrappers
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup colorful bell peppers, diced
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned. Incorporate diced bell peppers and chopped scallions, sautéing until vegetables are tender. Stir in soy sauce and sweet chili sauce. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Assemble the wontons: Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and crimp to seal.
- Fry the wontons: Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Carefully add the wontons in batches, frying until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve: Plate the wontons and garnish with fresh cilantro for a vibrant touch.
Notes
Best served fresh with optional dips like sweet chili sauce or a tangy sauce. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
