Description
A tender, flavorful turkey breast slow-cooked to perfection, complemented by a rich cranberry gravy.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (3-4 pound) turkey breast, bone-in, skin-on
- Salt and pepper, for seasoning
- 1 onion, quartered
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 can (14 oz) cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Optional: fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme
Instructions
- Begin by seasoning the turkey breast liberally with salt and pepper.
- Place the quartered onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Position the turkey breast on top of the onions, skin side up.
- Pour the chicken stock around the turkey.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cranberry sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
- If desired, remove the turkey breast and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Using bone-in, skin-on cuts helps retain moisture. Letting the turkey rest after cooking allows juices to redistribute.
